A man can be patient and wait for a woman because he really wants to go to bed with her, but respect is a totally different element. Like CR said, you are confusing correlation with causation. A man who doesn’t respect a woman can wait just as long as a man who does. Waiting does not equal respect. Just because I wait on a line and don’t complain doesn’t mean I’m not bothered by it or don’t wish I didn’t have to wait. Once that next register opens, I’m quick to make a line change. Do you see what I mean? The reason M finds men who respect her is more than likely because they already share her core beliefs. Where she errs is when she believes that’s the reason why all men do or don’t find women dateable (to which I have yet to see any empirical evidence of). Hot debate. What do you think?
